The Selection *Spoiler Free*

My Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️/5 Stars

Quotes to Remember:

  • “True love is usually the most inconvenient kind.”

  • “I hope you find someone you can't live without. I really do. And I hope you never have to know what it's like to have to try and live without them.”

  • “It's always the fear of looking stupid that stops you from being awesome.”

My Review:

First off, I love this book so much! It has been sitting on my shelf for forever and I have just never particularly felt like picking it up. But as a big fan of The Bachelor this was the book version of the show. If the bachelor were the prince of a high powered dystopian country, that is.

Royal love stories are among my favorite things in books and the trope of a member of the royal family falling in love with a low class, high personality, commoner is one of my favorites. This was everything I love in a book.

This book is perfect for people who like sappy romance, royal love stories, and maybe a love triangle. But we won't talk about that.
